NumFOCUS’ Fiscal Sponsorship Program provides a stable, independent, and professional home for projects in the open source scientific data stack.

PyData

PyData is the flagship educational program of NumFOCUS. PyData provides a forum for the international community of users and developers of data analysis tools to share ideas and learn from each other.

Open Source Sustainability

The NumFOCUS Sustainability Program is an innovative effort to improve the long-term sustainability of key open source scientific computing projects.

John Hunter Matplotlib Summer Fellowship

The John Hunter Matplotlib Summer Fellowship supports one student to work on Matplotlib full-time for 3 months.

Google Summer of Code

NumFOCUS has participated as an umbrella organization for Google Summer of Code since 2015.

Diversity & Inclusion in Scientific Computing (DISC)

The Diversity and Inclusion in Scientific Computing (DISC) Program provides guidance on how to best promote diversity and inclusion within open source data science communities.
