AUSTIN, Texas, April 8, 2019—NumFOCUS is pleased to announce that Cambridge Spark has volunteered to organize a PyData event in late 2019 in Cambridge, UK.

While this isn’t the first UK PyData event, Cambridge Spark will be bringing the event to Cambridge for the first time. “I’m delighted to announce Cambridge Spark’s continued support to the NumFOCUS and PyData community. We look forward to launching PyData Cambridge and share our appreciation for this thriving city that has become the UK hub for tech innovation and AI,” said Dr. Raoul-Gabriel Urma, CEO, Cambridge Spark.
PyData is an educational program of NumFOCUS, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the United States. The mission of NumFOCUS is to promote open practices in research, data, and scientific computing by serving as a fiscal sponsor for open source projects and organizing community-driven educational programs.
