In addition to their sponsorship, Two Sigma has supported their software engineer Sam Brice to work with NumFOCUS throughout spring 2019 as our first NumFOCUS Visiting Fellow. During his fellowship, Sam will implement a variety of initiatives to improve the long-term sustainability of our open source projects. In particular, he will help define and create a default governance framework with systems and processes for ensuring healthy growth of a diverse and inclusive contributor community.
