Gina Helfrich, our Program Manager for Diversity & Inclusion in Scientific Computing (DISC), was a member of the SciPy conference diversity committee and helped to organize two BoFs, one on the State of Diversity and Inclusion in the SciPy Community and a second on Keeping Bias Out of Machine Learning.
